Simply put, Vinotunes is the fusion of our adventures in our travels, music, hiking, events, wine and spirits, and local cultures, and sharing how other people can experience these for themselves. We have been traveling the Western US for the past 16+ years and have had wonderful experiences off the beaten track and mainstream in fantastic places. We enjoy terrific culinary experiences, wine tastings, and brewery tastings and tours, and epic road trips.
Me (Chris) and my wife, Adrienne, are selling our home and hitting the road in an RV…how many times have you heard this? We are consolidating from 3100 sq ft to a 28’ rv…yikes! We have studied wines and received certifications and will continue to share that quest with you. We are equal opportunity drinkers and always looking for the diamond in the rough amongst producers. We are avid hikers and will have great trail footage and local knowledge of those hikes. I intend on lugging my instruments around and there will be jam sessions and gigs around the country to show the diversity in music regionally. Whew!! The list goes on…there will be some RV stuff too, but this is about the adventure that my hours of YouTube fixation has hastened and consolidating what is out there.
There are so many events out there that need to be seen on the calendar, Mammoth Blues-a-Palooza, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, annual wine harvesting events, huge brewery festivals, private spirits gatherings, trail days, rodeos, concerts, SXSW, gem shows…the list is endless and great to wrap a vacation or road trip into. That is why we have a calendar of events that involve events across the country. Our job is to locate these, educate our subscribers and give options of how and what to do when you get there. So, grab your map- we are working left to right.
One other thing we have, is the love of the road. Some roads just need to be explored beginning to end. Along the West Coast you have Hwy 1 that bounces all along the coast line from Mexico to Canada…we’ve driven it. Hwy 41 from Yosemite to Morro Bay-great drive and the 395 up the spine of the Sierras-Amazing! There are many more of these and our quest is to follow these routes of Americana and share their gifts to the common adventures to experience. So, check it out, follow our blog, YouTube videos and Facebook. We’ve got a lot of RV travels and experience to share.
This summer we will embark on our maiden voyage aboard our mighty Thor motorhome on a huge loop that will introduce the Eastern Oregon beverage scene, natural wonders of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Arizona; great communities and historic museums. We will strive for a trail a day to really show the terrain we encounter. We will be experimenting with media and refining our craft. We are looking for sponsors! But we’ll work on that later.
This is the first leg of our adventures coming out of isolation and adapting to new social norms yet to be discovered. This will probably be more of a natural approach and rural in nature until socialization normalizes. No big deal. That’s why we have the nation parks and our countryside to appreciate. We look forward to sharing what we learn along the way and helping you plan future adventures. Thank you for being part of Vinotunes. Please check us out often, like, subscribe and friend on our social medias (YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram). Please write us and let us know what you like or would like to know about as we travel about. Cheers…Adrienne and Chris
